FACES COURSES I Testimonials
♦"The four-day course about forensic anthropology was a high-grade advanced training that combines extensive theoretical lectures with concomitant practices with the use of the extended osteological collection and of photographic material of former crime scenes. This course is perfect for undergraduate and graduate students as well as professionals of related fields. With the help of the advanced modern equipment of the institute, the training staff did an extremely good job due to their expert knowledge and their pleasure to teach a heterogeneous audience."

♦"The facial reconstruction course, which was offered during the FACES workshops, gave us participants a very good insight into the anatomy of the skull, as well as the field of application of facial reconstruction and the necessary software. The advantages, disadvantages and limitations of this technique were very well explained by using real examples. I would recommend this course to anyone who would like to continue their education in the field of anthropology, anatomy or forensics."

♦"Facial Reconstruction Course given by the FACES was a great experience. Detailed presentation by Dr. Özgür Bulut was brilliant and he was very helpful during the manual application of the Manchester Method. This short but very intense course helped me to gain the most unique facial identification skills which is invaluable. I enjoyed every minute of the entire course and I learned a lot from it. I believe this will contribute to my career and future studies."

♦I chose to train through Dr. Ozgur Bulut (Tubingen, Germany) as I was aware he is one the most reputable scientist researching and offering training in the field of Forensic Facial Reconstruction. I am proud to be first Asian to be enrolled for Computerised 3D Facial Reconstruction, which is an intense in depth training available. The course content was excellent, with a good balance between theory and practical application, which I think was an excellent way to learn. This course has given me a more cemented view in my role in reconstruction and helped me generate ideas which can translate into good research. In short I recommend this course to any one passionate about forensic facial art and reconstruction.
