Paleoanthropology department has several facilities such as Image Lab, CT Lab and Human Osteology Collection. The FACES researchers have the ability to access and utilise the capabilities of these facilities.
The Image Lab is a research facility dedicated to the scientific researches on geometric morphometry. Image Lab has microscribe digitizer, 3D anatomy table, surface scanners, 3D printer, facial reconstruction system with haptic device and high-tech workstations.
Our department houses a unique Human Osteology Collection, which forms the basis of many research projects. CT Lab is also employed for the scanning of the skeletal remains with a high resolution in order to conduct researches and undertake virtual documentation of the collections.
